Necessary piece of gear

This is a must have for a board and I'm not really sure why it even ships without it since most other manufacturers include it at this point. Not only does it protect your motors, but it's the perfect little handle. I wish Evolve would put a little more into the website so that this, bushings, cups, etc were suggested at checkout, which would have saved me quite a bit on shipping charges.

Maybe have it pre-installed

Maybe I missed the option when I bought the board. But I didn't notice until I saw one an a buddies board. Regardless, I'm glad i put it on for a little more protection and it looks really good too.
